The Faith of Jesus
He walked the rise and fall of days
Felt the weight of dust and time
But never doubted heaven's gaze
Never questioned love divine
No borrowed creeds, no secondhand light
No fragile hope to ease the pain
He lived as if the Father's hand
Was always just a breath away
Not fear that clings when shadows close
Not faith that waits till all is lost
But trust that stands when reason shakes
And joy that counts the earthly cost
This is the faith that lives and breathes
A child's trust in a grown man's soul
No doubt could steal what he believed
No storm could break what made him whole
He didn't just believe in God
He lived as if God lived in him
He saw the Father just and near
Holy love both great and kind
And named us family not by law
A Father near not far removed
A love that knew us all by name
And every life both small and scarred
He claimed as family, not by law
But by a bond no crown could grant
No power break, no death withdraw
No frantic fire, no ego throne
No mystic drift from earthly ground
His faith held wisdom arm in arm
With duty, love, and daily sound
This is the faith that holds the line
When disappointment draws its sword
Unshaken calm, completely free
When doubt and loss are closing in
He didn't just believe in God
He lived, as if God lived within
Prayer was breath not ritual sound
Trust made flesh in daily choice
A quiet strength before the storm
A will laid down willingly
No voices, signs, or visions sought
Just constant living open sight
Communion with the Light
This is the faith he asks of us
Not just to see but walk inside
Not just to believe what he believed
But believe the way he did
Follow me, not to worship fear
But live the truth he lived within
A child's trust in the Father's care
And courage to the very end
He showed us faith was never words
But a life completely given
The will of man aligned with love
And earth made kin with heaven
